Staying on the Costa Blanca is a great place to be to have a good variety of Golf Courses to choose from.
I have a passion for the Denia area and brought a villa at La Sella via Spain4u.es, being in this area it gives me a wide access to lots of Golf courses including Club de Golf Jávea. It is a course of nine holes, S.S. 72, with 2 putting greens, driving range. The choice of the land used has given us wide, open fairways that sometimes flatter the golfer, but greens that are very well protected by bunkers.
A part from the course, the club has a large, well developed club-house with a bar, a restaurant, a Pro-Shop, television and card rooms, besides the changing rooms and the caddy area.

9 hole course, with different tees on holes 10-16. Pace of play very slow, even for Spain, due to 10 minute starting slots, despite players filtering onto the 10th/first from early on in the day Not particularly challenging, fairly short. Played at the end of August, course was very wet, drives and mid irons on the fairways plugged, greens also extremely wet. Apparently the course is watered extensively every night. Service was poor in the extreme, surly staff, very unfriendly, very unhelpful. Not a great way to start the round. I've never felt less wanted on a golf course - for a moment I thought I was in France, and at 50 euro for the round, I expected better. Frankly, I advise you to play Bon Alba or La Salla, better value for money, better course, better service. If you do play, don't take a break after nine holes for lunch in the restaurant, as there is a good chance you won't get let back on, and won't get a refund.
