I played aberdour in late april with our society. all sixteen of us had nothing but praise for the condition of the course. being a greenkeeper myself i was very impressed with the greens, very fast and very true. all credit to the head greenkeeper and his staff. keep up the good work lads. every time we have played the course it has always been in exellent condition considering the time of year it is. any keen golfer who is visiting the area should play this course. members were very helpful and friendly and all credit to the pro and the staff in the clubhouse who made us feel at home, many thanks.

This is quite simply a beautiful course. Living in Leicester, I have family in nearby Dunfermline and visit Scotland once a month citing Aberdour as my favorite course. The first two holes are exceptional and being truly links are a different club selection every visit. The course then lengthens out allowing some room for a slice but with reward to those straight and long. This course has some drivable 4 pars for the big hitter but the priority here is for those with accuracy and the ability to finesse and spin balls. The clubhouse is very comfortable with excellent views of the Forth, hearty meals and most importantly knowledgeable locals. It is a pleasure from the moment I step out of the car.
    Kind Regards

With easy parking and access by train this is one of the hidden gems of the Fife Coast. Not long by modern standards but you need a good short Jane and sure putting touch to beat your handicap. The members are always helpful and even on Bank Holidays I've been able to get on easily. The views are really special and who knows the seals may be a few feet away by the rocks.

Here is my review of Aberdour - a fine little course. I am slightly biased as I grew up playing Aberdour and when I played at Easter it was the first time in almost 20 years (with APH). Aberdour has always been special with so many par 3's and the marvellous view over to Edinburgh.
Many of the 3's have been gobbled up by the course extension - no comment - but the onus is still on position and finesse. The opening 3 holes are tremendously enjoyable and the overall experience is still very good. Easy to score 4-5 over, difficult to get near par. After, the clubhouse offers great views over the Firth of Forth, good refreshments and a fine end to the day. It is a pleasant break from a tour of the tough courses on the Fife and Lothian coasts. Drop in and try it!
