We had an outing at Aberfoyle last October (16 players)and all found it a delight to play, without being an easy course. So much so I have been asked by the players to book the course for the Scottish Power Annual Open in July or August. I strongly advise any medium sized party to give it a go as the staff and members are warm and accomodating, as well as handy for some local knowledge advice.

aberfoyle golf course has everything you would need from realistically reachable greens on par 3's to down hill dogleg par 4's. if it wasn't too far away for me i would have become a member for sure. the resident golfers are friendly and always willing to assist on course aswell as in the clubhouse bar. you can be guarenteed to get a tee off time when ever it suits, due to my hectic shedule i was never dissapointed when i booked a tee off time there.
what more can i say great for a day out and also for a works tourney even.

Can't remember much about the course but the Midgies were everywhere, you need to wear a mesh balaclava

A very picturesque little course which I found very challenging. Set in some of the most beautiful countryside Scotland has to offer with a view of Ben Lomond this is a little gem of a course not to be missed!!

Tough little course with fantastic views, basic but good easygoing clubhouse and no queues or hassles. It's well worth a try.
