Easy to learn layout makes this an enjoyable coarse,well maintained,excellent greens and friendly staff,there're quite a few par 3 holes that are tricky distances making it quite hard to decide clubbing,I also enjoyed the use of the buggy faculties,found this an easy to play coarse suited to all from single figure to high handicap.

Being a pay and play course one advantage is how easy it is to book a tee time. Once on the course you very quickly realise that that there is a lot of work involved in walking up and down the hills. There are several tough holes, I have yet to clear the stream on the 4th which appears to be a magnet for my golf balls. It's difficult to pick a favourite hole since there is so much variation. The added feature of the Oxford canal makes an interesting back drop to several of the holes, however, the peace and tranquillity can be spoilt by the high speed rail line nearby. Still, I enjoy playing the course and will go back for more anytime.
