This is a copy of our most recent testimonial - "This is a very special golf club, holes 1-5 and 10-13 are 9 of the most breathtaking you will come across anywhere in the world.
If you only had one golf club to play for the rest of your life this would be it, plus to top it off the staff make you feel very welcome and you get that feeling you belong at Ardglass Golf Club."

Other posters have said that Ardglass is a hidden gem, but I just returned from a 8 day/7 course tour of Ireland in which Ardglass was included. There's no way that you can mention this course in the same breath as Royal County Down, which I played the day before. The first 6 holes are worth the playing, but after that the only hole worth teeing it up for was #11!
Very disappointing course after reading the rave reviews!!

although it's near neighbour, royal county down, will always get the plaudits, ardglass deserves to be mentioned in the same breath. some of the views on offer would probably outshine those at pebble beach, i'm not kidding here. if you want to play a course that has character, beauty, fairness, fun, and a real golfing challenge, then ardglass is the course for you. the par 3 second on a windy day will have your kness knocking, as the shot must be played over an expanse of the irish sea as it eats it's way into the craggy rocks below. this is just one of the many feature holes this course provides as it overlooks the irish sea. a real golfer's paradise.

Playing of the wonderful handicap of "28", I played this wonderful course on a beautiful summer's day. The views were breath taking and the course challenged out four balls to the extreme. We were a mixed bunch of handicappers ranging from 16 through to 28.
I managed to score an amazing 36 points off the stapleford rules to win the competition that day, so my views are slightly biased.
The first five holes winding around the coast are a fit challenge to any golfer. Standing on the first tee and trying not to look left is a challenge in itself.
The course is in excellent order and the par 3 holes a fantastic challenge. I had a wonderful day and would highly recommend this course to any level of golfer.
