Course Details

Course Name: Balbirnie Park Holes: 18 Yardage: 6214 SSS: 70
Balbirnie parkland course, was designed by Fraser Middleton. Once again we are delighted to host two Scottish PGA Professional events in 1999 proving, we believe, that the course, the facilities and warm hospitality we have to offer is ideal for all golfers.

Our 18th hole is our signature hole. For the 'tigers', the chance of clearing the burn with your 2nd shot to set yourself up with an eagle, in front of our magnificent clubhouse is a must.

For the less powerful, a short pitch and putt will round off your game very nicely.

For an appreciation and independent view of this course please see golfer reviews.

i travel to fife every year with our golfing society and we always make a point of playing at balbirnie park. the tees had been re-turfed in the winter and due to bad weather the tees were brought forward but this did not spoil our day. the course as always was in exellent condition and the greens were true and fast. my partner on the day was david hood and we ended up getting 48 points, i put it down to the condition of the greens, awesome. all credit to the greenstaff, keep up the good work lads. the pro and the staff in the clubhouse made us feel very much at home, many thanks to all. this is a gem of a golf course and anyone who is in the area go and play and find out for yourself what a quality golf course it really is.

Once the course has been played you are deoerate to play it again. In fact we canceled our booking at a links course to play Balbirnie a second time.

I think Balbirnie is a challenging course and is one of the best in fife. The greens are a lot smoother and a lot faster these days. The club have an extended clubhouse. Their newly designed pro-shop is 450m2 and is one of the most thriving businesses in fife. They have also modified their putting practice green and it now has three levels, flowing from right to left with 15 holes. The picture is finally completed with the wall, which was built around the perimeter of the green itself. All in all, 9 out of 10.
