I have just completed my best round ever (83) so I am bound to be slightly biased.
The course is quite short at 5572yds off the yellow tees but every hole has something to catch you. The lake at the 9th is so inviting for the ball that you feel that you have to hit the ball that much harder to get it over. Alas, mine went plop!
It has been well designed and the greens are in excellent condition. I can definately recommend you play this course if you are in the area. The members are very friendly and helpful which makes it a good day out. I will definately be going again to break that 80!!!

Apparently this course was co-designed by Peter Alliss. This course was played when the wind was gale force and the sun made it look a nice day. The terrain here is what make this place quite difficult,(and not listening to my three partners who all play there regularly) The greens are good ,the fairways vary from lush to sparse in places. perhaps another visit is in order to re-evaluate, when the wind isn't visiting. Try it ,you might like it.
