I am also a member at Barnsley golf course and over the last year a few changes have been made, new bunkers and grass mounds have been put in place to make the course slightly more challenging and there is a new tee box expected for the 15th which will make it harder. Great course

this course is great for young golfers like myself.I am a member at Barnsley and I go every saturday and most sundays.It is very well looked after, I enjoy playing there very much.

I am a member at the course and in my view it is one of the best courses in south Yorkshire. I have played around Yorkshire with the junior team and I have only seen one or two courses, which are of better quality, all of which were private courses. The course has dried out due to the good weather and is improving day by day. An absolute cracking course, which I enjoy and will carry on enjoying.

Although Barnsley Golf Course is not the hardest test in golf it is a great course for the high handicapper and is also probably the best value for money in Yorkshire.
