once upon a time there was a boy called jack. His mum sent him out to sell a cow so of he went and saw a man he bought the cow for FIVE GOLD BEANS. these were magic beans.so he went home and told his mum she was furious and threw the beans out the window. over the night a beanstalk grew up high. and jack went up it he found some cheese and fell down whilst trying to eat the smelly stilton. He died and was never seen again (after burial.)
THE END

Great little course, although short however not pitch and putt as front page suggests!
Two long Par 4's to start with, tricky greens and very picturesque 6th / 7th and 8th . Very friendly staff and a neat little club house. Although a members only course official handicap holders and other club members can play. We were made to feel very welcomed, well worth the visit if you happen to be in the area!

Bearwood Golf Club has two very long and demanding opening holes, both on the limit of being par 4's. The are some very tricky undulating greens which need lots of thought and consideration when putting. The views across the lakes are glorious, plenty of wildlife to take in as you cross the causeway of the 7th.
Great practice facilities and friendly atmosphere clubhouse round off a great day at Bearwood.

I would like to say have enjoyed many rounds at this true test of golf. Although it is short it is very challenging due to long rough and tight fairways. The 2nd is one of the toughest holes I have ever played due to its length, out of bounds down the left and large bushes to the right. The 7th is drivable but with a tight tree lined fairway, water and bunkers it is a risk
