Berehaven golf course is a beautiful seaside nine hole course on the shores of Bantry Bay. Water is a feature on this course. The Atlantic ocean comes into play on three of the holes particularly the 9th, par 3, which requires a tee shot over the water.

One of the nicest golf courses i played all summer has to be Berehaven golf club. The course played very tough and the views form the last three holes were spectacular,All in all i relly enjoyed my round at this golf cousre.

Played Berehaven on 5th and 7th May 2006 managed to catch some good weather and on the 5th we were the only ones on the course. A lovely course with some interesting holes and what a turn for the last three! Placing the drive on the 7th and 16th is essential to have a chance of reaching the green with your second. Both shots over water and when the wind picks up not for the faint hearted or the fade shot. 8th/17th from the comp tees is either a short iron or a driver - typical seaside course depending on wind direction - the 9th and 18th is a good par 3. Right oveer the sea to a sloping short fairway and green. Will definately play here again.
