Over the 36 years I have been blessed to play Beverley, I have never ceased to look forward to the next visit. While the club has been forced to change some of the most unique and interesting holes that nature created for public safety reasons, it is still a wonderful, natural, 18 holes of pure golf-the way it use to be . Give yourself a treat after Ganton and St. Andrews and play Beverley.I bet one round will not be enough.

Played Beverley again on the 30th May 2000. Considering we've had torrential rain for weeks the course was in excellent condition and as usual the greens first class. Made us most welcome in the clubhouse and the food was good and reasonably priced. The hilly terrain though was tough on the older members especially when pulling a trolley.

An excellent course, which has made our society, welcome on many occasions. Good value for money per midweek round. Greens in excellent condition. Stray off the fairways and you are in trouble. Certainly one of my favourites in this region.

Golf as our ancestors played it and as it should be played today. Cows and sheep are kept off the greens by wire fences-sometimes. Racehorses keep the early morning golfer company as they train on the tan gallop. Lovers picnic under the trees and stop to help you find your wayward shots. Yorkshire at its best.

An annual September Society event, well worth the drive. A wonderful golfing experience set on common land with enclosed greens to prevent to cows doing what they do best. Walkers, riders, roads - wow. Idiosyncratic golf, and cheap too.
