The course is relatively flat with the main obtacle being the rude member of staff that just took my booking details. Had I not played the course previously I would have hung up and gone elsewhere. May I suggest a customer care course!
PS Ignore him and don't let it put you off playing a cheep and cheerful course (shame about the starter)

I only took up golf 4 years ago and was introduced very quickly to Biggar g.c. This course is relatively flat but don't let that fool you. with the swirling winds , a club that is good one day can be too long or too short the next. The course is very well kept with a lot of various challenges. once tried you will come back again and again.

Always make a point of playing this course when visiting relatives. The scenery is beautiful, the course is a sufficient challenge for anyone and the price is a 1/4 that of any comparable course in England.

I played on this course yesterday (i.e. Monday 3/4/01) and the course is in remarkable condition for the time of year. The greens have to be seen to be believed. All credit to the groundsmen.

An excellent relaxing round of golf.
Flat course with not too many obstacles but enough to enjoy.A very nice setting in some beautiful scenery with a caravan park just off the eighteenth. After a round take the time to relax in the clubhouse directly overlooking the last hole.If your in the area I`d strongly recommend this course. All in all one of the best days I`ve had. ( and I wasn`t playing well at all )

Excellent public course. Very flat so ideal for two rounds. Lots of out of bounds so beware!! Hole 9 is excellent par 3 as you play your tee shot, OOB on right, burn on left and OOB behind green. Get a par 3 and you're doing well. Catering and staff very friendly.
