i speak on the behalf of everyone at birchwood when i say that adam robs peoples clubs spits everywhere and is generally loud mouthed so thats why people might be inclined to "look down their noses at him"

the golf course is great with a mixture of fast and slow greens and man eating fairways but i dislike the people who use it because they treat me like an outsider and look down their noses at me which spoils my days out

had a very enjoyable day at birchwood facilities are of a good standard and the course is very well thought out with lots of water, though not always coming directly into play offering sufficient threat for any wayward shots. many of the waterways though do force some thought off the tee being in driver range, this resulted in playing a long iron off the tee to lay up and then play an 8 or 9 into the green. having never played this course before some local knowledge would be useful when playing the well named 11th "the valley of humiliation" i was truly humbled by it. a par five big dog leg with lake on the left, stream on the right with oob & houses, the stream cuts the fairway in two and further on there is another ditch crossing the fairway made it a huge challenge playing it for the first time.
following our round there was a very appetising lunch and for those with a big appetite i can recommend the mixed sizzler.
