Blackley golf club is a fantastic parkland challenge with long fairways, plenty of water and superb greens. The course has recently been developed and has a new and modernised clubhouse. The club professional is very welcoming offering some great deals. If you fancy a proper golfing challenge I would suggest you get down to Blackley GC to test your game!!!

To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to play a round at Blakeley
G.C.(with a view to joining if I like
the course). If there are any members who
could introduce me I would be grateful.

I'm a member here and i would just like to put in a good word for the club. The greens are of the highest standard i have ever played on and when the water hazards mature the course will be one of the most challenging but fun to play in the area. The meals are very nice and the facilities are what is to be expected.

This course has changed beyond all recongnition over the past few years, what was one a flat and fairly boring course now has hills and plenty of challenging holes. Of the four par 3's only one is under 170 yrds. There are numerous ponds and the majority of the greens are USGA spec and are the best I have played in the region at this time of year. The staff and members were more than welcoming and the pro's shop well stocked with some excellent bargains. Work is still underway in a couple of places but this does not detract from the amazing transformation in this course.

If you're a reasonably long hitter you should be able to tear this course to pieces. However the greens are small and of poor quality so even if you are accurate, you can still be punished on the greens. The shop is well equipped and the catering is good when it is on. Phone to book and enjoy a round of golf at a beautifully located golf course.

Blackley is a flat but well maintained golf course, with 9 new hole been put in due to work of the new m60 ring road. it is a long and challenging golf course for any one, with excellent facilities and a fun day on the course.
