Boldon Golf course is a joke, myself and 2 other fellow golfers decided to try Boldon. All three of us live with-in 5 miles. It was a Sunday when we played, very overpiced course. Made to feel very unwelcome by the members, also asked to tee-off from the 7th hole as a ladies comp was starting in 10 mins. I was getting dirty looks from everywhere as I was talking to my pals.
I can understand if fellow golfers near nby are taking a swing, but with motor bikes and scrambelers everywhere it was deffening most of the time. Poor tee box markings regarding distances and hole map if any. A few occasions I was playing up the wrong fairway!!!It was like playing a municiple course, especially the greens. The members here looked at you as you where unworthy to play on the course and guess what they where right. I would never play here again. I shall spend my money elsewhere.

A very easy course.. too easy.. Sheltered from excess wind with a few interesting features.. When you get to the 'downhill' side of the course its best to unpack that suit of armour I'd advise the unsuspecting to take.. Apart from that... its OK .. just

I think boldons course is a challenging course but very enjoyable. It has some really good holes which give you a good chance of par. the facilties are very good and i recomend it to any one because i am a member and i have enjoyed it so far and its a very good course and it has friendly people. top course

Very demanding course excellent facilities i.e.: - clubs house, pro-shop, snooker room but most important of all serves a "canny pint"
