this course is fantastic, it is worth playing at, even if it is a bit out of your way.
best time to play ofcourse is in the summer but plays great all year-round

I have been lucky enough to stay and play at Bowood Park Golf Course on three occasions in the last few years. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff is second to none, the hotel is perfect for the golfing fraternity, the breakfast is of very high quality and just what you need before you start your round. The course is a challenge to all levels of golfers but whilst providing a challenge you can enjoy your just rewards whatever your handicap. I would recommend this venue to everyone!

A good course for mid to high hanicapers. Plenty of interest and ideal for society and corporate days. Played there in June 2004.
