If you're in the area then play this heathland venue. Opening hole doesn't tell the story but wait till you stand on the 2nd tee! Nice people in the ProShop, wish I could say the same about the Hon Sec

I played this course on a mini golfing holiday to Scotland in September 1998. On the journey to the course the heavens opened and there didn't appear to be a let up. When we arrived a 'course closed' sign was up. We went to the pro shop to see how likely a game was. We were told as we had booked several weeks in advance and travelled all the way from Norwich we were quite welcome to go out if we fancied braving the weather.
What a treat! The golf course to ourselves, and what a course. Built amongst rolling hills with some deep valleys we found some really interesting holes. One par three over the ravine towards the castle demands a carry out about 170 yds.! The setting was lovely and our party agreed it was the highlight of our trip despite the rain and some fine courses in Scotland. The staff were really friendly and accommodating when we finished and went to the 19th. We definitely intend to return.
