McMillan family privately-owned and managed country house hotel, The Cally Palace. 4 Star Rated by the AA and RAC

The Cally Palace was built in 1763, a country mansion for the Murray family of Gatehouse of Fleet and first opened as a hotel in 1928. Since 1981, the McMillans have worked on restoring the mansion to it's former elegance. Care has been taken to retain it's atmosphere and sophistication.

On entering the hotel, where two huge marble pillars support the original, moulded ceiling, one is impressed by the sheer grandeur of the interior. The two public lounges have been restored to their original splendour and reflect the opulence of a bygone age with their spaciousness, marble fireplaces and decorative beauty.

Our cocktail bar provides a convivial ambience in which to have pre-dinner drinks and in our elegant dining room, renowned for it's first-class cuisine, a professional, friendly staff willingly caters for your every need.

Accommodation includes a range of suites and luxury bedrooms. The hotels facilities also include a conference room a leisure complex including swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and solarium.

We, a party of 19 golfers, spent the Queen's Jubilee weekend at the Cally Palace. We have had a magnificent time!!
The service we have received from all the hotel staff was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. What can you say about the golf course? Absolutely amazing. The course is in excellent condition, the views are `out of this world', and the course is definitely Scotland's 'jewel in the crown'
Our extended thanks to Douglas, the Hotel Manager for ensuring that everything was first class. We can't wait to visit the Cally Palace again in the not too distant future.
Forget Portugal and Marbella, if you get the weather, you won't tee off anywhere else. I can promise you that! Once again extended thanks to everyone at the Cally Palace
