Fantastic, challenging 9 hole golf course. No 9 holes the same with the ever changing weather! Views out of this world and nothing beats an early morning tee off with the sun rising. High recommend the course to any golfer!

Short but hard with really thick rough. Some of the best scenery there is.

Challenging, though short. Great views. Well maintained. Good fun - don't miss it!

I've played Carradale on several occasions and always found it a very pleasant course to play. It isn't the busiest course in the world and therefore it is never a problem getting a game.
It is not the best course you will ever play, however, some of the scenery is superb and I would highly recommend you give it a go if you are ever in the region.
There are sometimes sheep roaming around the course but they don't cause any problems and the greens have a small wire fence, which can be electrified, to keep the sheep of the greens.

One of these days I shall return to Carradale. It is a heavenly place to play golf, but don't go if you want All-American type manicured golf.
Carradale is special; superb views to Arran, delightful golf holes which will test your ability particularly well if it is windy, and a par 3 across a valley into an armchair of a green, which will give you shivers down your back years later.
Stay at the Carradale Hotel and roll out of the bar onto the first tee - it really is that close!

Bobby Willan has been taught to play golf exceptionally well with the coaching from his brother.
    How's your swing!!
