What a stunner, Me and my friends have played some good courses in our time (Manning's heath, east Brighton the Sussex national) I would say that this is probably either first or second in my list of beautiful courses, It is a parkland course, with amazing holes, all well created with loads of carp filled lakes surrounding quite a few of the fairways and holes, I think the 16th is my personal favorite, with water on either side of the fairway, and water protecting the green on the left hand side. The facilities are also superb and friendly staff make you feel most welcome, We played on 2 for 1 in Early January 2002 and the course was immaculate, no temps and no mats (hallelujah). We each have subsequently received invites back for a round of up to 4 people and lunch for £20 (what value) we both received these so that in theory 8 people can go all for £20 each inc lunch.

The facilties here are second to none in all ways(but) trying to book for 8 to 10
people, but not a society, thats realy hard to do. We all live in Sutton, Surrey and only want to book a tee times with only a bacon roll or a light lunch when finished and a few drinks, most of our friends are members of private surrounding courses.

First impression on seeing this course says it all, from the Club House/Complex you can purvey over the first nine holes, including the 16th & 17th. With inviting bunkers situated down either side of the immaculate fairways, and some of the best presented water hazards in the south, this really is one of my favourite (if not the best) course's I've had the pleasure of playing.
From the 1st to the 18th you will not be disappointed, unless of course your accuracy from the tee is not up to scratch, stray from the fairways and you will be well penalised, and with ultra fast undulating greens recovery is a challenge. A great course - well worth a visit.
