This course is a steeply undulating parkland course surrounded by mature woodland. There are spectacular views and some very interesting holes. The signature hole, a 160-yard par 3 with the green 200-ft above the tee with trees guarding the green on both sides, is a test for even the lowest handicap golfer. I play off 24 and it has on occasion brought me close tears. The hills make the course hard going in places so don't use a trolley. The greens are well kept and the newly refurbished clubhouse serves good food. If you in the area it well worth a visit especially if you hate sand as there aren't many bunkers to worry you.
