| This parkland course is one of the most challenging courses in Wales. A true test of golf for all abilities. Particular features include the water hazards and the topography of the course. Venue for the WGU mid Amateur open Championship in 1997, venue for the Country Championships in 1999. Is the par 5, 664 yds, 9th hole the longest in Europe? I found Chirk to be a good test of golf on a well conditioned golf course. The whole set-up is lovely with the marina in close proximity and welcoming staff.
I would recommend this course to anyone and shall be returning very soon.
