Nine hole golf course. Greens are quite good, but the fairways have seen a lot of golf played on them. The entire course is at times over run with sheep and thier droppings are everywhere. 2nd hole is difficult because the tee box distance to the centre of the green is 6 metres longer than the card would have you believe. Overall it's pretty average. I would rate it 4/10

superb 9 hole course, very difficult to score on.second hole par 3 situated in the middle of a double faiery ring, surrounded by bunkers, you must hit the green.
great club house facilities in a very relaxed surrounding and atmosphere.
    excellent pint.

As a member,I would like to say that Cill Dara is a fine course with magnificent greens, but is also quite a test in the frequent windy conditions often found on the plains of the Curragh of Kildare. The clubhouse is excellent, and no effort is spared in making one feel welcome. From DARREN KEARIN. HAND.-18.
