absolutely hilarious!
i've played the city a number of times and always enjoyed the round. it's a little short but well kept and quite mature with a very welcoming clubhouse.
parklands is worth visiting for the driving range, certainly. i paid to play the course about six months ago and was so bored by the monotonous nature of evry hole i walked off after the 10th.

This course in one of three in a close proximity. One being Parklands which apparently is a picture of a course according to I. Pilkington........... All I can say is that the picture would never be published! City is a far more testing course and therefore much more enjoyable for the true golfer! I am a member at neither but am fortunate enough to have played at both and found City to be a far better round. Value for money wise too it is also top of the leader board, and I will recommend it even to Tiger Woods!!!!!!

City of Newcastle is good but it is a rather easy course for those who strike the ball as well as my friend T.Burns and I (I. Pilkington). It doesn't really challenge golfers higher than a 28. I really suggest that you either go further up the road to Parklands golf club, which is a picture golf club, which challenges the best of players.
Yours,
I. Pilkington (hdcp 4, Parklands Golf Club)
T. Burns (hdcp 3, Parklands Golf Club)
