Date of establishmentEarly '30s
One could say Clandeboye Golf Club was born on Saturday 10th June, 1933 when a Public Meeting in the Dufferin Hall, Bangor first breathed life into what has since become recognised as one of the foremost golf clubs in Ireland.

Throughout the past 70 years Clandeboye clubhouse has been radically modified... it now bears no resemblance to the original single storey wooden clubhouse.

Members needs are adequately serviced within the clubhouse, the emphasis allowing them to relax in comfort. Facilities include an enlarged professional's shop, bar and lounge area, and an exclusive restaurant for their use. Another new addition is the informal lounge situated within the Men's Locker Room to view the Sports channels, or simply check their cards.

Above Conlig Village off the A21 between Bangor and Newtownards.

Course Details

Course Name: Ava Holes: 18 Yardage: 5755 SSS: 68
Course Architect: William Rennick Robinson, Baron Von Limburger
Narrow fairways, established trees, gorse, heather, rock close to the surface and all the other hazards of an unspoilt natural landscape make it a tough and varied course, presenting a challenge of subtlety rather than length.

Course Name: Dufferin Holes: 18 Yardage: 6559 SSS: 71
The long Dufferin course quickly exposes a golfer's skill or his limitations. Masses of gorse, bracken and strategically placed trees flank every hole, demanding extreme accuracy and punishing the slightest error.

Parkland golf course with superb greens.Brillant view of Strangford Lough. Each hole either involves trees, bushes or out of bounds.
