Course Details

Course Name: Cleethorpes Holes: 18 Yardage: 6349 SSS: 70
Although next to the Humber Estuary/North Sea this is not a links course but a green and pleasant pasture land with green fairways and well kept and maintained greens. Not a hilly course, but with some nice 'features' making for good golf.

    Re Cleethorpes Golf Club
I played the course and found it to be quite boring. It is not a difficult track and no hole poses too much of a challenge. I know the fees have been put up recently and cannot understand why as it does not offer what Waltham Windmill, Laceby Manor Grimsby and both Louth Courses offer, and that is a challenge to the player

My name is Derrick Riley.I was last year's captain of the seniors section.
Cleethorpes golf course is a lovely course. It's a proper links course. There's a beck 'Book Beck' that runs all the way through the course. It's just coming into it's own. the greens are beautiful, the course is beautiful, it's looking very, very good indeed.
It's a Par 70 course. The hardest hole I think is the 18th which is a 450 yard par 4. I reccomend anyone to join Cleethorpes Golf Club as they'll find it's good value for money and it's full of friendly people.
