I'm just after moving from Dublin to Cavan, I'm a ladies International golfer and played your golf course a couple of weeks ago. I didn't ask for any reduction in Green fee and my Dad accompained me around as he always does, (he didn't play) but I was shocked and stunned when my Dad had to fork out 50 euro for my Green fee. I think it is a little rich asking so much when it is reduced to a nine hole course..something William Noble failed to tell us.I think the club should re-think its Green fee strategy especially if it wants to attract new members.

I have just discovered your message and I am at a loss to know how you could have been charged 50 Euro for a green fee. It should have been 20 or 25 Euro, depending on whether it was on a weekday or weekend. It looks like it must have been a weekend and you were charged for 2 people on a misunderstanding that both you and your father were playing.
If we receive a short note from you explaining what happened, with your address, we will send you on a refund along with a complimentary green fee.
By the way, our re-developed back nine, designed by Dr. Arthur Spring, is coming into play soon and it will provide an exciting new challenge. Green fees at 25/30 Euro will be great value and they will be half that playing with a Member.
The Club is seeking new members and there are great deals for Beginners, Distance Members, Country Members, etc
Please phone Therese at 049 4371309 between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Monday to Friday for details.
Look out also for our newly constructed website which will be operational from abot mid February 2006.
