This golf course ranks with the top in Ireland in my views I played my first round of golf ever here when I was two years younger with a healthy handicap of 11.

Hole 16 - 460 yards. Slight dogleg right from the tee. Avoid the trees and spinney on the right. Plenty of room on the left hand side.
Hole 17 - Long par-4 of approx. 490 yards uphill. Requires a good drive. Once you get that right, you then require an even better second to hit and hold the green which has a deceiving slope to the left.
Hole 18 - Nice finishing par-3 over a large pond that runs parallel with the fairway with the clubhouse just behind. Approx. 150 yards. 8-iron is the club here. Watch out for the open windows of the clubhouse - balls have been known to fly through here!
If you are ever in the south-east of Ireland, try and get along to this course - you won't be disappointed. About 80 minutes drive from Dublin. Be sure to book your tee-time for early in the morning, so as to avoid the rush which starts at 9am, and continued right through till early afternoon.
