As a member of the club I find the course more enjoyable every time I play it. There is a test on every hole of some sort, something for all abilities. With the two hardest opening holes in Devon, a good start to the round is very important. The coures is very hilly and best played in the Summer. As a new course it is developing rapidly, the greens are speeding up. My favourite hole is the 10th, a dog leg to the left with out of bounds and a tight drive, and the 17th, a tight par 3 from which many a good round has come to an end. Definately a good course to try............PETER HEXT 15yrs (8 handicap)

I had the pleasure of playing this course during the summer of 2000 and found it to be most interesting and certainly a course I would intend to play again. Each hole has its own feature whether it be driving from an elevated tee, water hazards or the enormous bunkers - on one of the par threes a single bunker virtually surrounds the entire green. If I had to single out one hole it would probably be the 16th, par 5 elevated tee where a good drive tempts a long iron or fairway wood for the green which is guarded by water in front.
