For a course with such an excellent reputation locally where membership is difficult to obtain, I found it very disappointing. Not so much in its condition, as the greens and fairways were quite good, but in its layout. There are many fairways that cross each other which in my view is very dangerous. Additionally, several tees are too adjacent to greens, which means that on some occasions you are under fire from several directions. Furthermore, the reception for visitors in the clubhouse was less than friendly. Not a place I would look forward to re-visiting, certainly not without a tin hat!

now the work is finished and we have 5 new holes on the course, the cross overs have been removed, i think it may be time for another review, so that your existing review does not put golfers off playing a good, testing ,course
