The Dumfries And County Golf Club opened in 1912. This is a Willie Fernie designed lovely parkland course, which is always in excellent condition, it has an excellent restaurant and bar.
Professional Shop is well stocked, practise area and putting green.
Directions
From the Dumfries by-pass (A75) take the A701 to Dumfries town centre first roundabout some 800yds from the by-pass take the road to the right marked town centre. We are 150yds on the right from the round about.

I recently played the county course and found it in very good condition. The greenstaff were very friendly and approachable sometning of a rare comodity I think hats off and keep up the good work boys.
