This new club founded in 1991 is located on 150 acres. East Clare operates as a pay as you play course and it is our policy to accommodate visitors at all time.
Tuition available from club professional. Restaurant offers light meals and snacks. Practice driving area. Plans are well underway for the construction of a new multi-purpose club house (1998). Buggy hire available.

East Clare Golf Club is located just five minutes drive from beautiful Loch Derg and about half an hour from Shannon International Airport.

Par 72, parkland course. Hazards include several lakes, bunkers, streams and trees. Our greens are the largest and most challenging in the region.

Good course. Easy starting hole followed by a tough par 3. Back 9 appear easier than the front 9. Brilliant scenery. Beware of the fox!

This course is an outstanding course for its age. It has some tricky lake shots and a number of beautiful par 3s. The best holes in my opinion are the long par 4 7th and the tricky but short par 3 8th and also the ninth is the most challenging par 4 around. Also try the new clubhouse for a fine feed!
