I play at farnham on a regular basis and yet to find a better pay and play course. The midweek green fee of £12 is very reasonable. The course itself is of parkland nature and you will use every club in the bag. The par three 5th green takes hitting at 209yards.The 15th and 16th drives have to be very accurate. The greens are always well maintained and can be very slick. All in all its a very good value course, with a good clubhouse with good food and drink. It also has a well stocked pro shop.

As I was visiting an old friend in Farnham we decided to fit in a game of golf and this would give me an opportunity to test a southern golf club. the course itself was well maintained and provided a very picturesque setting for my defeat. it had very challenging greens for a short course and is a good test for a players short game.
Shame about the 19th hole the range of food was poor and grease was certainly the order of the day.

I don't know what course the last reviewer played on, but it doesn't sound like Farnham Park in Stoke Poges. This is a full 18-hole course of 6172 yards and not a par 3. It is a good municipal course, although the tees could be better maintained. The course is set in enough woodland to make holes interesting and challenging enough even for intermediate players. The course (as are most) plays best in the summer time, as drainage could be a problem. The front 9 is the more interesting, ranging from a tiny par 3 (135 yards) up to a hefty par 5 (550 yards), although the course is fairly forgiving if a moderately wayward shot is hit on many of holes. The back nine is nearly entirely par 4's, and several are very lengthy. The greens are good, but could be quicker. The clubhouse has a good value menu and bar, with a relaxing atmosphere.

A challenging Par 3 course varying from 100 yds to 170 yds in length. Many trees and adequate bunkers though lack of water. Compact in design, many of the holes run parallel to one another giving those who habitually slice and hook a testing time.
