It poured with rain, blew a 'hooligan' but we all enjoyed the course which in the main stayed dry and playable. The 19th hole is 'spot on', the rooms more than comfortable, looking forward to my next visit in April 2002.

Probably the perfect set up for a golfing break.
Sensibly priced 'B and B' / inclusive golf packages.
A compact, not too challenging course with stunning surroundings and some memorable holes (Henry's, the 8th, has to be seen!)
Good food, and a welcoming atmosphere at the 19th.
Can get very busy with societies around weekends, so book early.

We had a thoroughly good time there. Pleasant course. Added advantage of having an hotel in the clubhouse complex. Ideal for short breaks.
