Parkland golf course situated in the heart of the ancient Forest of Galtres - 2 miles from the northern section of the York ring road and close to the historic city of York. Clubhouse, shop, changing rooms and bar and lounge facilities available.
Directions
From the York Ring Road (A1237) go north on the A19. Turn right through the village of Skelton and the Golf Club is a mile from the village on the left.

From the 7th green, York Munster is visible to the south. The course was designed by Simon Gidman and there are 2 Loops of 9 holes with two alternative starting positions on 1st and 10th tees adjacent to the clubhouse.

A new club made on a flat expanse, the fairways are wide and allow you to let rip with little fear of lost balls. When the newly planted trees develop the course will come into it's own. But as it stands not a bad place to pull a few strokes from your handicap. All the holes are open at the front of the greens with hazards to the side and rear. Shorter hitters will benefit from this as a straight short will find it's own way to the hole.. The best holes are the long par 3's with nicely positioned tees allow you to watch the balls hit the green.
