I had the pleasure of playing this fine course in Aug 98. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition (and so were the ponds who eagerly claimed a few of my balls!!) and on the whole I found the course quite challenging with some beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and 'hills'.
The welcome I received was superb and the lady in the pro shop, who's name I have forgotten was a great help in introducing me to a member (a local fireman) who took me around the course giving some invaluable local knowledge. The restaurant/bar is very welcoming and serves great food and even better Guinness!!
I very much look forward to playing the course again when I visit Ireland again this year. If you are going anywhere near Derry on your golfing holidays you must pay a visit to this course.
