Played june 2002. The course is hilly with lots and lots of bunkers all of them well placed as I found to my cost. Fairways are imaculate and greens true. Any errors are down to pilot error. The first three holes are all uphill and the last three holes take you back down. Wonderful views from the top of the surrounding countryside - unless you golf is letting you down !!!! The only slight critisism - some bunkers have deep very fine sand, some bunkers have only a thin covering of sand and some bunkers have both in different parts of the bunker. This can make it very difficult to judge your shot - but then I suppose the idea is not to be in there in the first place. Well worth the visit and even if it is a little expensive - hey what the hell, treat yourself.

I scored a hole in one here in Aug 2000 on a corporate day.

Gog Magog (old course) is somewhat hilly. A lot of bunkers, both fairway and greenbunkers. And large! Some of the bunkers needed three rakes so you wouldn't have to walk too far. Advice: practice bunker shots before going here! But it is fun! And: no water, which means you may possible keep your golf balls! Excellent beer. All in all very good. But quite expensive.
