Have been a member here for a couple of years now. It is a good test of golf if not a taxing one for the purest, set in tranquil parkland just off the Great North Road.
The fifth is a difficuilt par 3 and 7th is long par four to an elevated tree sourounded green.
It sports the most picturesque finishing 4 holes I know of as seen from the elevated tee on 15, with the 18th I suggest the best finishing hole in the county.
A great club with very freindly members keen to pair up or accomidate lone visitors into a 3 ball. A pro as good as you get and ground staff who are brilliant. A wee gem of a club house both well managed and stocked.
