Grange is a very testing and picturesque par 68-parkland course at the foothills of the Dublin mountains. Although there are six par 3 holes (the course begins with two one-shooters) it nonetheless poses a stiff examination for golfers of all levels. The course plots its way between stands of trees, and features small greens and clever bunkering. Straight hitting is vital. Re-designed by James Braid (five times British Open champion) in 1927, it is one of Dublin's gems and a very enjoyable course to play.
