A pleasant 9-hole course set on Oswaldtwistle moors around an old slate quarry. Some excellent views towards Pendle hill and the Ribble Valley and on a clear day the Flyde coast and Blackpool tower that can be seen. Teeing off over quarries and on to some narrow tree lined fairways, can be a demanding course if the drive off the tee tends to wonder and if the wind blows it could get quite frustrating but learning self control and strategy will be very rewarding. The local golfers are friendly and will make you feel very welcome. The Clubhouse has a well stocked bar and serves good food.
