A great course any day. The weather and partcularly the wind has a lot to do with your game here.
No hills to climb but one hell of a challenge. The views of Carlingford Lough are to die for.
Favourite hole: The par 3 6th. Elevated tee htting across water.
    Value for money? You bet
Welcoming? Very much so. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

You have to be very accurate when hitting the ball on this course. If you veer right you end up in the sea, if you veer right you end up in a bunker!

Greenore Golf course is a stern test of golf. The contrasts between the panoramic, mountainous views and the beauty of Carlingford Lough provide a fitting backdrop for a course that is as beguiling as it is treacherous. Rarely played without the presence of the wind, clubbing correctly is a must; particularly at the par three sixth-where anything other than perfection will meet a watery grave. For those that err on the long side they face an intimidating chip over bunkers on to a green that runs away from them towards the 'drink'. Which brings me neatly to the clubhouse; where a friendly welcome and a fantastic pint of the black stuff await the tired and weary. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!!!!
