Being situated along the Crimdon-Dean coastline it can be very cold and windy therefore really hard to play good consistent shots with gale force winds blowing from every direction into your face but in good sunny weather it's a great course and very enjoyable to play.
Holes 11 and 12, two straight, Par 3's, really good holes with great views. You can go straight for the pin with a short club, usually an 8 or 9 iron again depending on the wind.
The greens a really well maintained and looked after, fairways aren't too bad neither. A really good links golf course in which I strongly recommend to anybody in the local area.

Situated between a Railway Embankment and the CoastLine this course turned out to be a little gem. The par 3, 12th has wonderful views over the course and along the beach, is also a lovely little hole to play. May not be the most difficult to play but has many delightful holes and strokes can quickly build up for any wayward shot. A course I will revisit and recommend to anyone.
