Iplayed here at the end of last year, and had a wonderful day. The course is challenging, without being stupidly so. The course rises and falls like a rollercoaster, and is a test of fitness as well as golfing ability. There are no two holes alike, and the final 6 holes encompass everything which is great about the course, from blasting away on an elevated tee, to tight greens framed by mature trees.
I'm playing it again on Friday with 3 pals, and am looking forward to enjoying it all over again.
Great off-course facilities too, with an excellent clubhouse.

hickleton is a great course for those who are just learning. hickleton has a alot of good holes and a great junior section. and many competitions to enter there is nearly one every day agreat social place to be

Its a great course for any person wanting an easy game of golf. With a fantastic junior section the course is always packed with juniors with lots of annual competitions to encourage them to play.
