We played Hockley as a society in late April. Despite its close proximity to the motorway it was a very enjoyable day. The holes were very interesting and the greens excellent. The motorway was forgotten by the time we had got onto the first tee and the first four or five holes up the valley were a real pleasure and the last four coming back down were great fun. Very enjoyable golf and an excellent BLT in the clubhouse.

I recently played your course and was very impressed with the disparity of the course from hole to hole. I would however recommend windbreaks, as I have been informed even on a calm day it is very blustery! Regards,
