A very good test of golf with a nice flattering front 9 to get you on your way and then a very undulated and tricky back 9 with some very hilly holes!!

Having Played on a very busy bank holiday I was shocked at how good the greens were! I have been luckey enough to play some good courses and the greens at Hoebridge were just as good if not better. As expected it was a beautiful day and the course was very busy! I found the staff in both the pro shop and the bar very helpfull with directons as there was some redevelopment going on.
The course was testing for myself a 2 handicap golfer and yet fair for both my playing partners with the respective mid-teen handicaps.

Played Hoebridge on Sunday 30th August and without a doubt the worst course I've played for some time. Allowed to pick and place on fairways unfortunately no grass on them to place the ball on. Payed way too much money for a very sub standard course and wouldnt visit again.

Not a bad layout, with good greens and a great club house

A very good public course which is a fair test for golfers of all abilities. Excellent clubhouse and facilities. The course can become congested and it took our 3 ball over 2.5 hours to complete the front nine but as many people only seem to play the front nine we completed the second nine in 1.5 hours. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a reasonable golf challenge at a very cheap price.

I have only good things to say about this golf complex...a thriving club with the main course a good quality track, a test for most abilities. I have yet to find better value for quality. The staff are courteous and accommodating. I would recommend this venue especially if you are looking for budget golf.

Knowing that this was a public course beforehand, I was thus very impressed as soon as I pulled up into the parking lot. The facilities are really good, with a large club house, and undercover, floodlit driving range. The pro shop is also large and very well stocked.
Tee off times are tightly controlled so as to ease congestion on the course, something that is always a problem on a public course. I recommend that you book early as the course can get exceptionally busy (notwithstanding that I
was there on the hottest day of the year).
A baptism of fire of the first with a long par 5, which sets the tone for the rest of the course which plays quite long. The first nine tends to be quite open, and many an errant drive will land on an adjacent fairway. This changes on the back nine, where accuracy is all important. The course is well maintained, and the greens are immaculate for a public course.
Even though the four of us teed off early, and followed closely behind a 3 ball all the way, we were chased by another 3 ball, and were told by a slightly out-of-touch ranger to please hurry along. I suppose that this shows that they are concerned about congestion, but where were we supposed to go?
The course is conveniently situated from the centre of London (Simply follow the A3 South from London, and turn off on the A247 to Woking, at the round about take the B382 North on the Old Woking Road and you can't miss it), and the great thing is that it is great value for money.
Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!
