I played Howth GC in June 03 and I am pleased I did.
Howth is a cracking course which I would descibe as 'Upland Heath'.
The course is very well maintained from tee to green. I found the members very friendly and more than happy to pass on their course knowledge when asked.
Howth overlooks Dublin bay and the veiws are quite fantastic. However, its commanding postion does make it exposed to the weather and on a windy day this may present an additional problem.
The clubhouse food and drink is also good and at a reasonable price.
I would not hesiate to recomend Howth GC, give it a go - its a 'goodun'.
