    Hi
Well i find this course both challenging and in a decent state of repair, iv only played it a couple of time in the last 2 months but i hasten to add there were plenty of ground staff working the areas and i must say very polite and friendly people they are, i find the course very interesting, not forgetting that was a coal mine not to many years ago

I played leen valley recently. and couldnt find any part of the course that wasnt waterlogged. there were no adequate directions to guide you to each tee. even the first tee was identified as number 11. the prices are reasonable but I still gave up after 9 holes I do appreciate it is still winter but it was a dry windy day. i have been quite a few times in the past and it seems in my opinion to be getting worse

        Hi
Sorry that you gave up the back 9 in my opinion is the better nine. The course certainly gets better as you go along and is the best value for money in nottinghamshire.

Played Leen Valley in April 2001,we were told that the course was under repair in places........And it certainly was under repair, the whole course!!!
The green fees were still great value and I found that expensive under the circumstances. The few parts of the course that weren't under repair was quiet good, but most fairways were under a lot of repair, the greens and green side bunkers were in fantastic condition; this maybe because the course isn't played much at the moment due to the repairs, and regular players playing elsewhere. Some of the holes were a good challenge but the ground under repair was far too much and really ruined the round of golf....... Shame. Wouldn't have been bad if it was at reduced rate whilst repairs are carried out. Shame as well because I am a local person that is looking for a club to join and it would have been ideal.

Hucknall Golf Club, more locally known as Leen Valley Golf Centre has a wide variety of holes, and is popular with local people for it's imaginative and testing layout. I have played the course several times and find it a good, but fun challenge.
