Only a nine-hole course, but has some nice variety in its confines. Most of the holes are fairly tight and accuracy is at a premium. Having said that with the exception of the holes on the outside of the course where a wayward drive to the right will lose the ball, you will normally find your ball, might have trouble playing the next shot as there will undoubtedly be a tree somewhere blocking your shot.
£6 for 9 holes or £9 for 18 was good value, the greens played very true, some were quicker than others where they had dried out, and others had only recently been watered.
There are only a couple of holes where you can safely get the driver out, but there are some 200+ yard par 3s which are quite challenging.
Treat the first 9 holes as a lesson, and then go for it the second time around.
If you're in the neighbourhood, pop over and visit. The pro shop is good and the bar and restaurant is excellent.
