The Kendleshire was designed by Adrian Stiff and opened for play in May 1997. At 6507 yards from the white tees it is not by modern standards long. However, this is compensated by a par of 70 and the clever use of water, which comes into play on no fewer than ten holes.

The Review on the Kendleshire is obviously written by the owner or one of its staff. The course is a long way from being one of the best in the area let alone the country.

The Kendleshire golf course is one of the best Golf courses, if not the best that I have seen in this country. Each hole is a challenge, the minute you loss respect for the integrity of this course in thinking that it is easy, is when you start getting bogies. Truly Brilliant.
