Kenmore Golf Course was opened in 1992 on converted farmland in the heart of the highland Perthshire by the banks of the silvery Tay. The design of the golf course was quite straight forward and the landscape was, almost unbelievably, perfect for a good quality golf course. The mildly undulating fields, the natural mounds with mature Scots Pine(roundels) and the ditch and dyke boundaries (Ha-ha) allowed the layout to follow and utilise the natural features. The course has matured into a first class course and the greenkeeper ensures it is always in first class condition. Visitors are welcome and always return.
The clubhouse and changing rooms are converted 19th century farm buildings and a tasteful furnished. Children are welcome in the bar and restaurant. There is a lovely patio and petanque piste (French boules). There are many lovely walks and Loch Tay offers safe swimming and water sports, and fishing.

Course Details

Course Name: Kenmore Holes: 9 Yardage: 6052 SSS: 70
The course at 6052 is no push over. The par 5 forth is 560 yards and only one of the par 4's, the second, is under 400 yards and one of the nicest holes you can imagine - teeing up hitting out of a mound of trees down a snaking fairway which banks encouraging the ball to keep on the fairway and the green is slightly elevated, surrounded by banks to help hold the ball on the green. The fairways are generous and the rough kept short which tends to encourage an unhindered round. The course is a fair test of golf in magnificent surroundings.

I have played this course for many years now and enjoy it more each time! Every hole is interesting and the surrounding scenery is simply stunning.
The facilities are of a good standard. I understand that there will be a new complex available that I look forward to seeing on my visit next year.
Oveall - excellent - I can't wait till next year when I can play it again!
